Financial Director

Our Budapest-based company dealing with fruit and vegetable wholesale (B2B), sales, marketing, distribution and goods imported directly from our own farms 
is looking for an experienced, determined, proactive, yet patient financial director who can understand the processes for its team.

This is a new position in our company, so it will be an extremely important task to develop the financial strategy of the entire company group, as well as to coordinate it with the financial strategy of other partner companies belonging to the company. 
A high level of knowledge of the English language is a basic requirement, the scope of work sometimes involves travel (Morocco, Israel, Poland, Jordan, etc.). 

The main tasks of the position:

Development and implementation of financial strategies supporting the company's growth and profitability.
Strategic guidelines for the top management and the parties involved in the processes, including the analysis of market trends, an overview of the activities of competitors, and the exploration of growth opportunities.
Supervision and planning of financial planning and budgeting processes, coordination with business goals.

Preparation of financial reports and analyses, including preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
Continuous development of financial processes and systems, ensuring efficient and accurate operation.
Cooperation with employees in daily financial processes, inventory processes and control, cash flow planning.
Contact with the bank, tax and other authorities.
Organization of transition to internal accounting, compliance with accounting regulations and regulatory requirements.
